HUGE CACHE OF ARMS AND AMMUNITION RECOVERED

Jammu, 09 Aug 2018 Acting proactively on a tipoff, joint teams of the Army and JK Police launched search operations in the arduous topography of Kath Panjal nala in general area Chapriyan, Poonch district and busted a terrorist hideout of arms and ammunition on 09 Aug 18.
     The cache includes one AK-56 Rifle with three magazines, one 7.62 rifle of foreign origin, four pistols with seven empty magazines, one revolver, four empty AK-47 magazines, 14 grenades,  two water bottles, two bags, 273 rounds of AK 47 rifle, 97 rounds of AK 56 rifle, 31 rounds of pistol and other warlike stores.
      This cache has scuttled the nefarious designs of the inimical forces to attempt and derail the peace and harmony in the region.
