SRMSS urges Governor to constitute public board for all temples, shrines

JAMMU, July 21: Shri Raghunath Mandir Sewa Samiti (SRMSS) appreciated bold decision of Governor, N.N Vohra and urged to take over all temple and shrine present under the control of Dharmarth Trust and constitute public board to protect the immovable and moveable ropriety of these temples through an ordinance like Jagmohan then Governor of the state has done in 1986 when he take over Shri Mata Vaishno Devi from Dharmarth Trust. The Samiti members said "We submitted many memorandum/letter to State Government as well Prime Minister Narendra Modi with various facts of mismanagement, misappropriation of funds by the person having control on these temples and shrine but no response has been taken by any government due to dirty vote politics." Rajiv Mahajan President and criticised previous PDP-BJP led Coalition Government for its failure in this regard. They requested Vohra to take bold decision in this regard so that propriety of Dogra heritage be protected.
