Anantnag Police, Govt School Chalklipora and Tourism department jointly launched drive “Say No To Pollution” AAJ KI SATTA



August 02: In a joint effort to curb pollution, Police Station Utrasoo in collaboration with Government High school Chalklipora and Tourism Department carried a drive "Say No To Pollution" at famous tourist resort Chattapal of Kuthar Anantnag.

The drive started with general cleanliness in the area besides participants removed and destroyed the wastes of polythene and plastic bottles from the area.

Meanwhile, the participants briefed the general masses in the area and made them aware about the ill effects of the pollution.

The jawans of police and the students of the Govt High school also handed over the pamphlets containing guidelines to be followed near public places, hospitals and at worship places etc as a part of drive “No to Pollution”.

The action was hailed by general public of the area.
